Geoscientists' views about science communication: predicting willingness to communicate geoscience

Abstract. The main barriers to science communication are common in different fields and they widely identified the literature. Studies focused on specific scientific communities framed as an activity with specificities of each context field. In this study, we analysed geoscientists' representations attitudes about understand which factors can have significant impact prediction public engagement that explain frequency/intensity communication. results pointed out such professional experience, recognition by institution, lack financial support, personal satisfaction geoscientific area expertise, a effect their engagement.
